About Douglas Gardiner

Hard work and compassion for others are two life lessons I was taught from a very early age. My father owned a successful flower shop and my mother a successful real estate practice. They still found time to be very involved in local charities. My work ethic and desire to help others is at the core of who I am. I owned and sold 2 other successful companies before deciding to go into real estate. As with everything I do I strive to be the best. For my clients, that means I am there for you. Whether you are a first time buyer, a seasoned investor, or moving up to a new home as your family changes; your goals are important to me. The smile on your face on settlement day is the most personally rewarding part of my job. In 2012 I met Brandon Brittingham, another Long & Foster agent who shared my vision and commitment to elevating our profession and giving the best possible service. We formed The Maryland & Delaware Groups of Long & Foster in 2014. Our group did just under 75 million dollars in real estate in 2015 making us one of the top performers with Long & Foster. We helped our clients buy and sell over 400 houses last year. In my personal life I am lucky to have a wonderful wife and daughter who are so generous with understanding my time constraints. My evenings and weekends often involve showing houses, attending inspections and meeting with new buyers and sellers.
